      not sure if this makes sense, but do you have a preference for music or bands from either UK or the US?

      i tend to think the brits are more creative in the sounds, even in rock. the americans are too formulaic. so i favor UK bands in general.

      think queen, led zep, iron maiden and some of the others, there is a lot more uniqueness in their sound.

      for instance, one could argue that papa roach sounds like 10 other rock bands of the west coast in the US.

      i agree that the brits are creative, but the amercians are creative in other ways too... think Thrash Metal :D

      When it comes to melodic death metal , I prefer bands from Scandinavia

      Thrash , US and Germany

      Death , US

      Power , Germany

      Heavy , UK

      Progressive , US

      .....hard to choose, but lean more towards the States. My life is more or less influence by the american way of life. Their cultures and ideals which I can identify with. The messages they carried in their songs also said what I wanted to say. The songs are brutally honest, that's what I like. wink.png

      Indie - US (usually NY based)

      Progressive - US
